A 'Green' automation solution for being environmentally friendly:

Situation: 20 'can' type recessed lights in home

Problem: The new fancy schmancy flourescent bulbs can't be dimmed and take too long to provide adequate light.

Solution: Control4 makes it easy to set the initial 'on-state' to a percentage so I started with 70% in our hallways. Thats enough light for most of the time and if I need more light I just press the light switch and the light will 'ramp' to 100%.

I'm Green!!

I've got a big grin on my face and this solution passes the wife test...
